Arleta: Device and Tech Support Info

The AHS IT Department is implementing new tech support procedures this mester. 
Please adhere to the new protocols:
 
If a student needs Tech Support:
  • Direct them to use the Tech Support Student Walk-in Hours in B128. 
  • During Student Tech Support Walk-in Hours, students will be helped with device issues and passwords.   
  • To decrease the impact on instruction, students will not be summoned from class for tech support needs. They will be helped during walk-in hours.
  • *If a student is in your class and they need tech support, you as the teacher can submit a request via the tech support form, but know that it comes with wait time. Versus Student Tech Support Walk-in Hours, students will be helped right then and there.     
If faculty or staff needs Tech Support:
  • Your request will be processed on a first come first serve basis. 
  • Our IT Department is amazing, and they normally support staff the same day requests come in, but on occasion it might take a day or two. We thank you for your patience. 
     
    Every Advisory class received a Tech Support Student Walk-in Hours flyer in their box. Please display it in your classrooms and promote the new student tech support walk-in hours.
