i-Ready: Monitor Personized Instruciton

 Dear all mustang teachers,

We are implementing a school-wide plan to have students work on their i-ready personalized instruction lessons during Advisory every Monday, after completing the fitness logs. Students who are testing above 8th grade will not have any lessons assigned. Students who do not have lessons assigned to them can work on other assignments or engage in other activities.

For Students:
When students log on to i-ready through Schoology,  they will choose reading or math,  and the next assigned lesson will appear on their screen. It was voted by our LSLC committee that students need to complete at least 20 minutes of i-Ready lessons weekly.  If you notice that the progress of your advisory students is NOT meeting our goal, please feel free to let your students to catch up throughout the week whenever you have downtime in your advisory class. Thanks to our wonderful Math anc English teachers, some of them are incoorperating i-Ready lessons into their instuction. You might see that your students have done much than 20 minutes per week on i-Ready lessons.
