PFT: Physical Fitness Test
PFT Testing window: February 2 - March 26, 2026 (LAUSD)
- The PFT or FITNESSGRAM® testing window opens on February 2, 2026, and closes on March 26, 2026. All students in grades 5, 7, and 9 must participate in the five test components of the PFT. Individual student scores must be entered in the MiSiS Mass Score Entry Screen, which will be available from February 2 and through March 26th.
- Coordinators and Test Examiners must follow the steps in the Job Aid: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) Mass Score Entry Screen when entering scores.
2026 PFT TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
PFT Coordinators and PFT Test Administrators are required to participate in annual PFT administration training as indicated in the 2026 Physical Fitness Test (PFT) Requirements for Principals, Coordinators, and Test Administrators Reference Guide to be published in late December. The PFT training covers PFT administration, procedures and guidelines.

- PFT Coordinators who have been designated in the Principal’s Portal will be automatically enrolled in the MyPLN PFT curriculum by Monday, January 12, 2026.
- PFT Test Administrators must self-enroll in the training.
