Yearly Enrollment Information & Forms
Thank you for considering Arleta High School as your future school!
For students in our assigned resident area, enrollment packets can be picked up in the Main Office starting May 12th, 2025. Alternatively, you may submit an online pre-enrollment application through LAUSD's enrollment portal (apply.lausd.net). Please see the table on the bottom of the page for additional documents that must be submitted to the Main Office.
*Incoming 9th grade students enrolled in an LAUSD middle school may be automatically enrolled into our system. You may call the Main Office after July 21st, 2025 to verify enrollment.
For students living outside of our assigned resident area, please sign up through Open Enrollment (see below for more information).
To determine whether you are within our assigned resident area, you can input your address onto our resident school identifier tool. You may also contact the Main Office at (818) 686-4100 for assistance.
Open Enrollment Information
NOTE: Open Enrollment application for the 2025-2026 school year is now closed. You may apply via Late Open Enrollment and be placed in our waitlist.
If you do not reside within Arleta High School's boundaries but still wish to enroll here, you may apply for open enrollment through LAUSD's enrollment website (apply.lausd.net). Click on the yellow Open Enrollment icon to access the application.
The application will be open for 3 weeks starting April 21st and closing May 9th.
The district will contact parents/guardians regarding their application status. Please note that parents/guardians are required to "accept" the open enrollment space. Failure to "accept" on time could forfeit the student's enrollment space.
Once accepted through Open Enrollment, parents/guardians should pick up an enrollment packet at the Main Office or complete an online pre-enrollment application on the LAUSD enrollment portal (apply.lausd.net). Please see the table on the bottom of the page for additional documents that must be submitted to the Main Office.
* Paper applications are available in the Main Office but it is highly advised that you complete the application online.

**The enrollment office is closed June 21st, 2025 through July 21st, 2025. During this time the Main Office will conduct business related to our Summer programs.
