Yearly Enrollment Information & Forms
Thank you for considering Arleta High School as your future school!
For students in our assigned resident area, enrollment packets can be picked up in the Main Office. Alternatively, you may submit an online pre-enrollment application through LAUSD's enrollment portal starting March 9, 2026 (apply.lausd.net). Please see the table on the bottom of the page for additional documents that must be submitted to the Main Office. *Incoming 9th grade students enrolled in an LAUSD middle school may be automatically enrolled into our system. You may call the Main Office after July 21st, 2026 to verify enrollment.
For students living outside of our assigned resident area, you will need to apply through *Open Enrollment (application window should open mid-late April. Please revisit website then or call the main office).
To determine whether you are within our assigned resident area, you can input your address onto our resident school identifier tool. You may also contact the Main Office at (818) 686-4100 for assistance.
Open Enrollment Information
NOTE: *Open Enrollment application for the 2026-2027 school year has not opened yet. Please check back mid/late April for dates. You may go to apply.lausd.net, call the main office for assistance or questions.
*If you do not reside within Arleta High School's boundaries but still wish to enroll here, you may apply for open enrollment through LAUSD's enrollment website (apply.lausd.net). Click on the yellow Open Enrollment icon to access the application. The application will be open for 3 weeks starting mid/late April (Please check back in April for dates). The district will contact parents/guardians regarding their application status. Please see the table on the bottom of the page for additional documents that must be submitted to the Main Office when enrolling. * Paper applications are available in the Main Office but it is highly advised that you complete the application online.
