Modern Literature/Expository Composition (Period ) Assignments

Present your PowerPoint in class this week. Highlights only. Turn in your final draft by 11/16/12.

Create a PowerPoint to highlight your main ideas. Put the finishing touches on your final draft.

Bring your revised draft to class for peer editing.

Revise your thesis.

Bring your typed draft #2, MLA format, citations included, to class for peer review.

Begin your first draft. Include blank spaces for your citations if you don't know them.

Complete two interviews about your topic.

Write your working thesis statement on a note card and turn it in.

Formulate a list of up to 10 questions to ask an interviewee.

Stop-Site-Write forms # 3, 4, 5, and 6

Typed resume is due.

Be creative, make your name BIG, but make it look professional and easy to read.
Most of all, remember that your resume is a reflection of your personality.

Please type your I AM, I DO poem. Be creative. Add pictures if you care to do so.

There is no font requirement.

Bring in a copy of a business letter.

Complete the I Do and I Am Poem.

Typed journals - double spaced. Free choice of font. You may have more than on journal entry per page, but it isn't necessary.

Typed business letter/op-ed piece. 12 pt. font (TNR, Helvetica, Arial, etc.)

2-3 paragraphs.
Follow the format perfectly.
