This discipline compliments and expands the mathematical content and concepts of Algebra 1 and Geometry. Students who master Algebra 2 will gain experience with algebraic solutions of various problems including solution of systems of quadratic equations, logarithmic and exponential functions, the binomial theorem, and the complex number system. This class is, specifically, the basis for the study of advanced math concepts and is the prerequisite of Statistics and required to advance to Calculus.

We have completed the study of quadratics from a solution perspective (we will revisit quadratics in conic sections, from a different perspective).
Can you solve by graphing? QF? CTS? Square root? Factoring? What is the relation between the x intercept(s) [if any] and the solutions, the roots, the zeros?
Are you rereading your notes in anticipation of the cumulative final for Algebra 2A?
Practice doing problems from the Chapter test, especialy the word problems.
