The AP Statistics curriculum reflects the following points: 1. Emphasize the elements of statistical thinking including the need for data , the importance of data production, and measuring and modeling variablitiy 2. More data and concepts 3. Foster active learning The curriculum is grouped into four main topics: 1. Exploring data: observing patterns and departures from patterns 2.
