- Description
-
This discipline compliments and expands the mathematical content and concepts of Algebra 1 and Geometry. Students who master Algebra 2 will gain experience with algebraic solutions of various problems including solution of systems of quadratic equations, logarithmic and exponential functions, the binomial theorem, and the complex number system. This class is, specifically, the basis for the study of advanced math concepts and is the prerequisite of Statistics and required to advance to Calculus.

Now that we have all passed CAHSEE, lets do constructions:
Construct a set of three triangles- 1) acute scalene, 2) obtuse scalene, and 3) right scalene.
Now, duplicate this set using only compass and straight edge. And again so you have three sets of three triangles.
In set 1, construct angle bisectors in each triangle; in set 2, construct medians; and in set 3 construct altitudes.
Next you will need to write a paper about your constructions. Rubric will be passed out in class.
